Shi Mao is currently a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Visual Computing Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). 
He works under the guidance of Prof. Wolfgang Heidrich as a member of the Computational Imaging Group.

In Sep. 2015 He he joined Automation department, South China University of Technology (SCUT) 
as an undergraduate student major in Intelligence Science and Technology. He got his bachelor degree 4 years later.

In Sep. 2019 he joined TBSI, Tsinghua University, as a MPhil candidate major in Data Science and Information Technology. 
He got his master degree in July, 2021.
